Premium Dog Walking Services

AK K9 actually was born from Abi's original Dog Walking company: Abi Tails Pet Services. These two companies merged before covid. However, a few years back, after juggling both training based in Stourport, Worcestershire (also covering the whole of the UK) and walking (based in South West Birmingham) the decision was made to close Abi Tails and therefore stop providing walking services.

As of 2025, Abi realised that many of her local training clients were struggling to find appropriate Dog Walkers that would uphold the level of handling and training established, and nurtured by Abi, during 1:1 training sessions. So the decision to provide premium walking services, that not only help owners that have to leave their dog when working but also supplement their training, was made. Clients can be safe in the knowledge that their dog is receiving appropriate mental and physical fulfilment without negatively affecting their behaviour and and overall training level.

Abi's aim for new AK K9 dogs who receive weekly training (without owners present) is to get them to the level where they are appropriate for Group Walks. There is of course the option for School or Walk & Trains to continue once dogs reach this point. However, on going, even more affordable, training and socialisation can be in the form of Group Walks
